Auction No. 30/2023-24 of 91-Day, 182-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T.Bills) was held on Sunday, 17 December 2023. Of which, 161 bids amounting to Taka 5,252.24 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 3,500.00 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 54 bids amounting to Taka 2,495.81 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 1,500.00 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 74 bids amounting to Taka 2,690.44 crore were offered against the pre-targeted amount of Taka 2,000.00 crore for 364-Day T.Bill. Of those, 92 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 1,543.69 crore for 91-Day T.Bill, 21 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 451.52 crore for 182-Day T.Bill and 38 bids were accepted amounting to Taka 157.69 crore for 364-Day T.Bill by the auction committee, respectively. The ranges of the implicit yields of the accepted bids for 91-Day and 364-Day T.Bill were 11.00-11.10 percent & 11.30-11.40 percent per annum, respectively and the rate of the implicit yield of the accepted bids for 182-Day T.Bill was 11.20 percent per annum.
